TIME

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with Rs 86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day; allows you to keep no cash balance; every night deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do with such an account Draw out every penny, of course!!! Every one of us has such a 'bank'. Its name is TIME.
Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft.
Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the records of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against tomorrow.
You must live in the present -on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today!! And make it a great week ahead!!

Value

“Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value”
Albert Einstein

“The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good”
Ann Landers

Sincerity

“A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal.”

Attitude

“If you cry because the sun has gone out of your life, your tears will prevent you from seeing the stars”

Judge people?

A man came out of his home to admire his new truck.
To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment.

When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands.

When the boy woke up from the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, " Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck." Then he asked, "but when are my fingers going to grow back?"
The father went home & committed suicide.

Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love. Trucks can be repaired. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't.

Too often we fail to recognise the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.
Pause and ponder. Think before you act. Be patient. Forgive & forget. Love one and all. If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

socrates the great.....

In ancient Greece(469 - 399 BC), Socrates was widely lauded for his wisdom. One day the great philosopher came upon an acquaintance that ran up to himexcitedly and said, "Socrates, do you know what I just heard about one ofyour students called Plato?""Wait a moment," Socrates replied. "Before you tell me I'd like you topass a little test. It's called the "Triple Filter Test".

"Triple filter?""That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my student let's take a moment to filter what you're going to say. The first Filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
"No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and...""All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not.Now let's try the second filter, the Filter of Goodness. Is what you areabout to tell me about my student something good?"
"No, on the contrary...""So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, even though you're not certain it's true?"
The man shrugged, a little embarrassed.Socrates continued. "You may still pass the test though, because there isa third filter - the Filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell meabout my student going to be useful to me?"
"No, not really..."
"Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither True, nor Good, nor even Useful, why tell it to me at all?"
The man was defeated and ashamed. This is the reason Socrates was a great philosopher and held in such highesteem.

Critize others????

Give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
